Default ancient coins

you get this reward after you bring a dwarf back to his workspace

you get the reward a purse(with ancient coins in it)

is there some other use for them than just getting money from it?

(since i read in a other thread that kanatos/thanatos(forgot the name xD) can be given to the barbarian leader in DARION before u do the second quest..

and u will get a shield

just wondering if there are other ITEMS that have such a sinister purpose

I've only ever sold it.

Have you "used" the potion the Witch gives you in Marshan Swamp when she wants you to destroy the Dwarves lab? Funniest part of the game.

I did...

Funny thing is that some items can be used to get spells/items... Like the body part bag you get from Zombie Noric.

And there are some class-specific events too. For example after bonding with the Turtle, my Mage could write down two spells into scrolls - that didn't happen with my Paladin. Also, if you play as a Paladin, Furious Paladin will sell better stuff to you (got the Silver Sword from him).
