* use your map A LOT

* Strongly recommend the Pad (flight sticks are a mess), choose Aviator Layout or Layout 4.
(these 2 layouts are excellent for having complete control on free look, which enables you to track your enemy easier)

* for enemies farther than 1000 meters look for a black spec on the horizon, for enemies closer than 700 meters have your view static and be alert for any movement, it will most likely be a small white flash (I am guessing that it originates from the plane reflecting the sun's light)

* for enemies closer than 300 meters, track them at all times (here is where having complete control of free look is important) if you loose your target at that distance you will be history. Dont forget to check your altimeter at low altitudes.

* at 0:52, when I start using the P-51, you will see me quickly scan my left side (because at the moment I knew my enemy was on my left side).

* After not immediately sighting my enemy I then opened my map, only a quick look as you can see is needed just enough to know my enemy's position.

* Then, I started turning towards the direction of my enemy that my map indicated. (notice I dont exactly know where he is, but I can get an idea)

* 1:08, As soon as I start turning I have already began scanning for that black dot, or any movement on my screen, you will see how as soon as I detect that black dot I immediately try to put it at the center of my screen.

* After I have my enemy at a good sighting distance notice how I never loose track of him, I even make sure he explodes before looking forward again

(not the best quality sorry) (It is also much more easy if you use virtual view)
