Default Units disappearing

Salute all!

I'm a new player in this awesome game and in this forum. Last night I played a MP mission and observed a weird thing.

I was behind a destroyed tank when I saw it disappear completely.

Is this a bug, or something that can be tweaked?

Thanks for you attention.

Lol no its not a bug,on multiplayer the units, all the dead or destroyed units do eventualy disappear,i think its to do with helping the game to keep running smoothly,as on multiplayer your system is using more resources than on single player.

I think it is a step backwards from FOW about realism.

Is there a way to solve this? Something to tune it and decide what disable and what not.

FOW, in MP, worked fine without units disappearing.

Ok, but any way to solve it?

It's not fine to be discovered behind a tank that not exist.

You could try to make a mod. Or you can find one that already extends time for vehicles and corpses or disables them from disapearing.

You can edit this anytime on the gamefiles, but then in multiplay you will find desincronization and dropped out from game by an error.

For more info about editing this option, search www.digitalmindsoft.eu

yeah its frustrating when you have a part of your cover go "poof" but i found if you bump a blown up tank/armored thing with another vehicle (move it) then its "dissapearing" timer seems to reset.
i used this to my advantage hile i had a truck push a blown up P4 across a field with 12 infantry behind it
