I remember waiting for 1946 to be released & when I got it it contained 2 discs, one for the game & the other containing development shots, film, etc of SOW. That was back in 2007 (I think that was when 1946 was released)

I psychicly sent him the idea in a dream one night in '03. It was supposed to be "Bob's Storm of War" not "SoW/BoB."

I feel something is coming, Nearmiss has cleared out the questions and requests thread to make room for all the replies Oleg is about to make, good work son.

Oh I believed you. I was just trying to be funny, furbs.

I was at a wedding back in Dec 03. One of the guests looked exactly like the pictures I've seen of Oleg Maddox. He dressed rather European verses the standard U.S. style of dress. He had an accent, but his English was pretty good. Somewhat stilted, but very good none the less. I WAS going to ask him if he was the creator of IL2. The chances being so astronomical I didn't bother. To this day the likeness was so uncanny I kinda wish I asked.

Let's hope nearmiss' cleaning up is a good omen.

I hope so too, but I think he just cleaned it up in the off chance that Oleg might actually read it one day. The questions and requests thread is a bit like going to church, Its possibly the best place to be if your ever going to communicate with God, but deep down you know that even if he is there he still aint listening.

Very good example.
Sad for you, though, as my God is listening, though he doesn't call me back on the phone, as well as I'm sure Oleg reads these questions, though he might not be willing to answer these questions right now.
