Default demo doesn't work with vista

I installed the demo of death track resurrection windows vista and that was fine. When I went to play the game it said I was missing a directx file and would not continue to load the game. Sounded like a directx 9 file I think.

directx9_30.dll ?

Search Google and just download it from somewhere. Then, copy it to the game folder where the game executable is.

Vista is DX10 and installing DX9.0c (which most games require) the normal way may not work. Well, it did not work for me and I'm using Vista Business 64-Bit so I just copied the missing DLL from somewhere else and that did the trick.

well, I got the full game now. And it works fine without pasting a .dll file. Mind you, I had to use the compatibility tab on the shortcut properties and set it win xp sp2. Other wise, I can't change resolutions.

Officially DT doesn't support 64-bit systems.
