Options > Controls > Aircraft > Axis

Check the box "Reverse" on right side of screen, ahead "Throttle" command.

You are almost certainly flying Spitfire/Hurricane, correct?

The effect you are experiencing is historically correct, BoB era RAF fighters were equiped with a carb that would cut out under negative 'G', such as when you push the stick forward abruptly. When you pull back on the stick, positive 'G' is pulled enabling fuel to flow through the carb again so the engine 'picks up' again.

Standard technique to overcome this is to roll inverted then pull the stick till you are pointing in the direction you wish to go then roll upright again.

Hi guys
Thank you for your advices, you are right, only Spitfire and Huricane are doing that. I was using the technique you mentionned to fly but I don't see any advantage to this. Was it a defect in the carb ? Reversing the axe just reverse the problem so I guess I will continue to fly the way it is. I am new in COD so I still have a lot to learn. Than's for your help

It was a problem inherent in carbs with floats. Post BoB a 'fix' was introduced

Forget my advice to invert axis, I assume that you have problems with throttle...

Fly per Bolox tips, and with Team Fusion Patch this effect are toned down.
