Default Where is the Controls setting file?

I've installed TF v1 Mod and copied over all campaign, mission, Skins, etc folders and files.

I have just one question remaining. When I run ClOD and go into the Options/Controls, what file do I LOAD to get all my control/key settings again as they were before I installed the TF MOD?

Hopefully I didn't lose all my control settings when I "verified integrity" as instructed in the TF Readme?

Your controls are under the confuser.ini in the Documents/IL2 folder.

You should not lose any of those during a steam integrity check unless the .ini file itself is corrupt.

But the best thing you or anyone else can do is rename your control setting file (confuser.ini) to something like Doolittleraider.ini.

This way, the steam cloud or any other service cannot touch that file. Plus, this way you'll always have it.

Early on, the steam cloud wiped my controls and I spent several days rewriting them (I have 6 CH devices - takes lots of time). So I learned my lesson and renamed my control config to something other than default.

One of the reasons the sim allows you to load/save/save as different control configs is because you can have a control setup for any plane you like. (bomber / fighter etc.,)
