I assume you all know that screen while waiting for a coop to start in wich you can read everyone PINGS and there are two bottons on display, one to quit and another one to fly (if you are the server), don't you? There is a bug has randomly happened to different people on my sqad we have no idea how to solve once it has started. Already on the game, the very moment you click on the map to enlarge or reduce it, that screen i was talking before, appears on top of everything making almost impossible to see what's in front of you. We have tryed everything and nothing seems to work to remove it. Have you experienced this problem as well? does anyone know how to prevent it to happend or remove it once it has? It seems to happen also when lots of players flying at the same time and only on coop missions.
Cheers. |

This only happens to the COOP host or to other players as well? I've never seen this bug before actually...and surprised that I haven't heard of it as well. Very strange.

Have seen it happen.
It's due to the chat box being opened when the mission starts. (So, it's not so random.) To fix it, you should be able to open the chatbox again, and either then finish typing a message so the box disappears, or click next to it, so it closes. (I'm not too sure here, I always try to prevent it from happening)

Or.....open the chatbox, then press Esc, then you should see the controls selection and you can press Return to mission

No, it is not the chat box... is the pings box, the one you have just before starts a coop mission, when you have already press fly but non everyone else has.
Oppening the chat and closing it again (with mouse or esc) do not fix the problem. I has never seen it on the host. It happened to me three only times in two years (i fly at least one coop per week), and always with loads of players, around 32. I know it has happend to other players as well. Next time i will do a screen capture so you can see how anoing this is. Last edited by Ala13_Kokakolo; 08-29-2008 at 11:01 AM. |

This is a common problem for large squadrons and only happens at or near full capacity. |
