Default IL2 1946 version

Hello. I'm mid-expirienced player of IL2 original. Lately I've noticed that 1946 version has more flyable planes than original IL2. So I decided to get 1946 from amazon, and here is the question. There are two versions IL2 1946 and IL2 1946 [Old Version] what is the difference?

Not sure... can you copy and paste the links? I don't see the other version.

Sure.
"Regular version" http://www.amazon.com/IL-2-Sturmovik...m_cr_pr_sims_t

"Old Version" http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...F8&me=&seller=

You can't see it in title, but when you search it it is the first one: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss...videogames%2C0

No idea...

Says it's from GeeksWholesaler and sold through Amazon.com. In both cases. Probably a duplicate entry on the wholesaler part. Should, in theory, be the same box.

1946 is basically IL2 and a whole lot more. 1946 is what you want.

Looks like 2 different boxes. Should be the same game once you patch. The important part is that both should be able to patch to current version.

The 5 games in 1 thing is just market-speak to catch buyers with. Like how $4.99 is not $5.00.

MaxGunz- I think you're right. I just was't sure, because sometimes there are different editions/versions of games and they may differ. Anyway thanks for the reply, as soon as I can I'll get the 1946.

Definitely some confusion out there. I think there was something called IL-2 Complete Edition but it was anything from complete.

IL-2 1946 is THE package you want. From there you can patch up to the latest version of the game. There is so much more content for all theaters and time periods.
