While waiting for the patch :War Thunder World of Planes??

I've visited their website quite a bit , but still in the dark about what looks like this up & coming sim.Does anyone out there have more info about it? Is the format similar to IL-2 (& perhaps better than CloD in terms of performance?) Ballpark release date? On Steam ( again?) If it is as good as it looks I may finally after years with Ubisoft's flight sims jump ship....or uh...plane.

its another one of those more accessible type ones meant for the average joe with the 5$ joystick, or keyboard/mouse... dumbed down ...loosely defined physics... if you wanna call it phyiscs...

it looks pretty, but so far that's about all it does.

but its pretty much like this right now... if you want anything other than battle of Britain style planes and want to dogfight/fly with other people in a game with decent graphics... il2 1946, DCS world, or rise of flight are the best choices right now...
