Default With Patch...what besides FPS?

Just curious...some are seeing an increase in FPS with the patch. Anyone noticing any other improvements?

I like the new sounds, but I have never heard one of these planes in reality, so I don´t know if the new engine sounds are more realistic than older ones.
But the new wind sound with open cockpit is certainly much much better.

I think your getting a placebo effect, Merlins only sound different at low rpm and wind sound is identical. To me the machine guns sound like they are in tube. Cockpit doesn't sound alive like luthier said it did at all. If they coded it the events so the could have the attached sounds I could build a better sound mod, but sadly they have removed those niceties, seems they were to distract us while the sim was unplayable in the early days

Flying a Ju-87 I have noticed a couple of new sounds:

- The flap switch now has a nice sound.
- Engine failure sounds are improved.
