Default Tutorials.

give credits where needed, cliffs of dover seriously needs startup tutorials like this one. easy, intuitive, and would save a lot of the hassle for new comers.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION ABOUT FLIGHT, THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF GOOD WAY TO MAKE TUTORIALS!

A lot of people have made tutorials. I can't remember names now, but I wouldn't have even been able to play with CEM without the tutorial videos that were made at the start of the game. They were all on youtube, so I'm sure you could find them there, for example:

Just found those by typing in 'Cliffs of dover [instert aircraft name here] tutorial', and they're the first few videos. We could maybe do with a sticky thread with these in though so that they're easily found for new players.

EDIT: Ah, apologies since I didn't realise that was in game until I re-watched it, so I get what you mean now. Yes we could do with that sort of thing in CloD, but at least they are available. Like I said, a sticky thread might not be a bad idea for newcomers since it isn't included in the game

no need to apologize. and credit is given to all those who did some awesome tutorials on the Internets, problem is, you cant really see and do this tutorials at the same time, so you end up having to see them 4 or 5 times while trying to memorize all the steps.

yes, for some of us, they are really intuitive and logic. but for someone who doesn't know anything about planes, it would be nice to have proper tutorials. they should include brief explanations on throttle, pitch mixture, and all that.

Default Tutorials in German

Hi,

I made a number of tutorial videos for the german twin engine planes and the italian BR20. Until now, it's all in german. The idea was to show basic functionality of the planes and how to fly them.

There are also specials about the Lotfe bombsight, the autopilot in the BF110, the fuel management in HE111, JU88 and the BF110 and how to build a simple trainig mission in the mission builder.

This is a link to my channel:

I'm thinking about doing it all over again also in english, if a new patch brings enough improvements and a stable version. I'm absolutly sure, my german flavored english will bring a lot of athmosphere into the videos about the german planes.
