Default dynamic campaign?

rom the last dev update:
"19. Will you make an SDK to create dynamic campaigns?

Quote:
You don't need SDK to do it."

to all the experienced members here, who know the ropes of the fmb and scripting, is this really true?
is it already possible to make real dynamic campaigns like we had in 1946?

where groundobjects and buildings stay destroyed during the campaign, moving frontlines,a ranking system, where the kill ratio of the player affects the remaining number of available planes and other objects like tanks of the enemy....meaning that the player can really influence the story.

so far i have only seen either static campaigns or semi-dynamic campaigns.
i recently tried TheEnlightenedFlorist's dynamic campaign, but have the feeling that its not really dynamic...just a sequence of randomly chosen missions....though dont get me wrong, i really like to fly it, and its the most fun i got out of single player yet.

but i didnt see anything that comes close to the dynamic campaigns we had in 1946.
the game recently began to get boring for me....
in multiplayer its only an ongoing dogfight with porked flight models and launcher crashes, and although im pretty successful against human players in clod, i somehow lost interest. before i will seriously go into multiplayer again, i really want to have flight models closer to reality, working CEM,radiators and so on....we dont have coops which is really annoying.

and single player....well we all know the sad truth about the content of the game.

so there is not much i can do right now with clod.so i installed 1946 again....well the cockpits really look dated and the flight models feel weird after almost a year of playing clod.but i have to say, that i was surprised that in 1946 some maps look more real than the channel map in clod.i like the slowakia map for example.and although one can see the age of the game, it has at least graphics which look finished and clean.and i love to fly the dynamic campaigns again in 1946.

so to come the real question again...is it already possible to make campaigns like in 1946 in clod.?is something like that in progress?
why is it, that after almost a year, we dont have one real dynamic campaign yet?

41Sqn_Banks is making one http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=25076 New version will include a dynamic ground war too.

Small_Bee from sukhoi.ru is creating an online one.

Just for the ranking system.... this will be present in an update for the Wick vs Dundas Addon from Desastersoft. This system goes on a public Beta around Christmas.

It includes a very cool feature imho where your realism settings have an effect on your required kills/won missions to get a medal/promotion.
e.g. you have to get 50% more kills/points to get the same medal/promotion if you disabled the CEM, 10% if you disabled headshaking and so forth...
Eventhough its available only in german, the possibility for a very advanced ranking system is clearly given.

They've written it in the german CoD-Ubisoft forum.
And you can see it here as well
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthr...=25068&page=22
saw this post after I wrote my last post.
You can read there that the Beta ranking system will be even translated into english.

If you understand german here is a detailled thread of the new system
http://forums-de.ubi.com/eve/forums/...4/m/3781076869

What I don't know yet is if this system is only available for the german side atm. Didn't see any pics of a british career with british ranks/medals though.
This ranking system will be implemented in the Wick vs Dundas Addon and will be a standard feature of their upcoming expansions.

What I forgot before is that you skip 1 -5 missions if you are wounded - depending of the severity of your woundings.
Just to show what amazing features are possible with some work of enthusiastic simmers even in this current state of CoD!

this all sounds nice, but this expansion from desastersoft is not for free as i see it.
in the current state of cod, where we dont know sh.. whats going on, whether we will see a patch and when, i think its questionable to buy a third party addon, while we should have something like that from the beginning in the stock game.this should be self evident.
and honestly....i think its time for the devs to deliver content for free.

All the proper content like the SDK and other tools will all be released with the Moscow addon. I don't see any reason to release it earlier as this game isn't compilable with the next installment and is not a priority to get fixed.

i know cheesehawk...and i dont blame desastersoft to earn money with their campaign...thats fine with me.all im saying is, that with the current state of clod, im not willing to put another cent into this product, until there are some improvements, or at least communication with us.

Thumbs up ...desastersoft "Wick vs. Dundas" campaign addon ...

... for "Cliffs of Dover" best campaign addon so far for this sim I guess.
I wish the devs. of CloD had put the same effort into the whole sim for the last 6 years up to now, then it would have been in much better shape on release day!

Also to mention, the support from desastersoft is very good.

I think they are worth the money.

If they come out with an English version, I'll buy it. It sounds very good.
