Cool Google maps mystery

Guys, I was just looking at GoogleEarth exploring kayaking sites when I stumbled across an image of a plane that I cannot identify.
Have a look at the image of the Pambula river just south of Pambula Beach, Southern NSW, Australia. The plane is a twin engine ?? At very low level on the north river bank halfway between the lake and the estuary (about 2km).
Any ideas what it might be and what it might be doing?

How about you post a screen cap so we don't have to search all over the place for it.

Default Rex or Qantas

I would say it is just a Rex or Qantas plane. Not exactly your secret Spy plane. But if you want to believe then it is a new X-38C unmaned US ANAL Probe.

Oh and the "Smoke" I would say it is reflection off the front of the plane dulled down by google maps overlay settings.

S!

Looks like a normal twin making an approach to the airfield a bit north. HArd to tell which plane it is but something like Piper Chieftain or similar.

Dang- there goes my conspiracy theory, shot down by a quick gathering of facts.
Hc_wolf- i believe you're right, Rex Airlines flies Saab 340's out of Merimbula airport that is just to the north.
The angle the picture is taken from and the strange colouration baffled me when i saw it this morning- oh well, back to work i suppose...
