Default Skins with Steam?

I just installed via Steam and cant find any game folders, so is custom skinning possible with the steam client , or do I need the DVD version?

Clod is located under

X:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover

Skins should be put here

C:\Users\"USERNAME"\Documents\1C Softclub\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\PaintSchemes\Plane(i.e. Bf109E-3)\

Copy/paste all the folders from X:\...\Steam\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\paintschemes\skins into
C:\Users\"USERNAME"\Documents\1C Softclub\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\PaintSchemes\skins.

Then place any downloaded skins into relevant folder in that directory

Essentially the DVD is just a Steam installer with the dotnet and vb libraries.Even with the DVD, Steam still downloads the game.So there is no difference between them.
