Default How The Steam Community Believes This Game Was Released

A Steam forum user who had trouble signing up due to the russian captcha told me to post this here,

"This is how I belive the game got released.....

Dev: Boss Vietnam is done its ready to ship.

Boss: Fantastic I have seen your videos and its looks great. i really like the idea of flying the choppers.

Dev: You cant fly choppers.

Boss Why Not?

Dev: Couldnt be bothered.

Boss: Fair enough. Well whats this game got going for it.

Dev: Its aimed at fans of red tide due to its strong SP.

Boss: Great i loved those big battles, tough but fun.

Dev: There are no big battles.

Boss: What, well i suppose medium is okay.

Dev: You get 4 guys.

Boss: WHAT! Against how many.

Dev: 200.

Boss: Well it better be a lower difficulty.

Dev: Its harder, the enemy can see through trees and your guys can take less damage.

Boss: Wont that annoy people.

Dev: No I think people want to play the same bit over and over and over they find it fun, its what we call replayability.

Boss: Well tell me after the success of Assault Squad that Skirmish will be included to allow big battles.

Dev: No we wanted to focus on a unwinnable SP campaign.

Boss: Hmmmm well it has MP at least.

Dev: Only in the DLC and thats just a quick bolt on with no thought. We have Co-Op though.

Boss: Great, with a mic it might overcome the difficutly.

Dev: No ingame voice chat included and its just as hard.

Boss: Well to late to change it now. Dont tell anyone this and
charge them extra for stuff that should have been included anyway. Oh and remember dont spend any money on the voice acting."

Sounds about right!

Maybe you missed this part though...

Dev: Shall we included the GEM editor, so players can make their own big battles?

Boss: No way!!! We wouldn't be able to milk them for DLC if we did that!

Forgot:

Boss: I've seen the features list on the Steam pre-purchase list, they sound really appealing.

Dev: Don't pay attention to those, we made those features up to reel people into buying the game before they could see how terrible it is. In reality, it has no 'MP', its not a 'new game' and has no 'full scale battles', we'll change the information on steam of course once the game in released so we're not accused of false advertising.

Boss: Your fired.
