Unhappy Cliffs over Dover Problems

Hello all,

i have a very strange problem with COD. I have purchased, donwloaded COD over Steam and tried that twice.
But the sim seems not to work right. Nor can i klick the cockpit instruments and my flight responses are VERY sluggish and deleayed.
FPS-wise all is fine, my system is strong enough to run it easily on max settings.
Any other sim (couple) are running like silk, but this one wont.

Windows 7 64bit.

Anyone any idea what i could do, or similar expiriences?

Update your video drivers then :

Browse to your game folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\redist

1) Run the Direct X installer in the DirectX folder.
2) Run the dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64.exe installer in the DotNetFx40_Client folder.
3) Run the vcredist_x86.exe installer in the VCRedist folder.

regards

A and 1 and 2 i did already ..3) i would try if NOW i wouldnt have lost my steam account which is not under every cicrumstances recoverable, even steam support is epic fail, and i am not the only one with account problems on steam.
Steam sends me keys and a "secret question" answer to my account name/mail, which does not work in steam, then if i try to recover my password on the steampage itself, it says "we dont know your account name or mail".
I knew Steam would bring me headache as it did 3 years back with another game, well guess 50euros lost. Not even a friggn hotline phonenumber nor a company impressum on their page.

Honestly, i pitty this product has fallen again in the Ubisoft and Steam trap. Pff epilepsy warning? epilepsy reason right there built in i would say :=)

Can you see the mouse cursor? If not, press F10 to change mouse mode. For control sluggishness check the controls and axis and make settings to their sensitivity and smoothing.
