I think that all you need to do is right-click on CoD, select properties and then find the button that says "delete local content".

However, first of all go into the documents\1c softclub folder, backup your conf.ini, confUser.ini and confs.ini, in case you don't want to redo your controls and overlay windows from scratch, then delete this entire folder too.

Finally, right click on the CoD icon again in Steam and select install/download or however it's labeled, it will download everything from scratch and re-install.

BTW BLACKDOG - THANKS TO YOU ,IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM & i SAVED ALL MY SETTINGS! I did need to go to settings & go on Cloud again to get my FFB joystick recognized & working and will need to reload a few 3rd party campaigns but now at least I have fully functioning "Video" panel.
I think I was running into trouble because of some earlier downloaded beta patches, and now the install is all cleaned up ,with the possible exception of "cache" files that I may have to delete once.
Again Many thanks!
