Default Steam now says not available until July-19-2011

I can't believe we waited so many years for this train wreck. Looking at all the problems with this release Oleg should be totally embarrassed. I'll check back in December to see if some of the bugs sorted out.

1. Elvis has left the building (Oleg is no longer operationally on the team).

2. The game runs great on my rig and many other with high en rigs. I stay above 50 fps in dogfights over London and down low over the City. A massive amount of bugs have been fixed in the last patch that came this week.

3. No other WWII sim is even close so what is the alternative?

4. Watch a video like this http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=23041 and say which other sim does that? I just love the new complex engine management which blows IL2 to pieces.... and the rest.

While you were typing this, I was shooting down HE-111s over London in my Hurricane. It was great.

Oh yeah, and I live about sixty miles north of you. There's no reason to wait for Steam's official release. You can buy the sim today... like right now.

Except for the fact that the rules of physics dont apply to the AI apparently.

The fear of 200.000 people wanting their money back after buying the game in it's current state. So far the game runs ok over water (25fps) with the first patch on my middle of the road system(no shadows). Only ctd's if I go to outside view on other aircraft, so I don't. With the last patch it crashes about 30 seconds into the game and shows massive artifacts. For a patient, hardcore simmer it's acceptable. For an average gamer it's a nightmare.

If they just made it an official paid beta program like DCS A10 it could be released. For me, even in it's current state, it's a blast to play. Have the gunsight controls mapped to my Warthog and can't believe the realism. Very immersive. Over land I can forget about combat but enjoy the eye candy while flying around at dusk or dawn.

Fix this thing to the point where it uses all the latest and greatest hardware. Get it to run stable on the advertised hardware before releasing it in the USA. If it takes untill Christmas to reach that goal, so be it. The hardcore simmers that don't sweat the small stuff and don't mind a little paid beta testing will find a way to get it right now.

Close in regards to what terms? If it's the the graphics i don't mind them that much (as long as they're believable and functional they're ok for me), i just can't go back to the simple IL2 CEM. Different people with different priorities

What's the deal with AA (I assume you mean antialiasing) ? Is it not working in normal MLAA mode like some other recent games, such as NFS:Shift2? If so, this is very disappointing...
