Default Can I do this in Windows 7 64 bit?

I have put Windows 7 64 bit on a drive. CoD is loaded on XP 32 bit and working.

Can I move the CoD files from XP to Windows 7 64 Bit.

If so where do I put them in Windows 7 64 bit?

Thank You,

install steam
copy programfiles\steam\steamapps\common\il2_sturmovik_ cliffs_of_dover folder to the same directory on Win7.
copy my documents\1c soft club to users\(your name)\my documents on Win7

Start steam and get it to verify your il2COD game files. It should update a few files and then you should be good to go.

Will doing the above (copying CoD folders over to Win 7 and using Steam to check files) automatically update CoD to run on DX10 or is it better to simply lose an activation and just re-install CoD?
