Default Luthier...what else is missing from the release???

Luthier,

Just curious, in addition to loosing the prop affect, what other cool elements are missing from the release version of Cliffs? Since we've been seeing vids and images for the last year it would be nice to manage expectations and know what we are and are not getting in the actual game.

Thanks.

They were all over water ! the vids that is

I really enjoy the il2 series and this game has alot of potency but after 6 years development they did a really poor job making it.

Things will get better but thisgame was far from being released in its current state

I am asking exactly the same thing in the FAQ thread:

ALthough we didn't get much videos on Friday's updates, we got wounderful screens from time to time showing off very photorealistic features:

Splendid smoke effects:

Splendid burning effects:

Great gauge glass reflections :

Are those still in the game ?

Thanks !

the developers were obviously overextendet all together... nice visuals... ON SCREENSHOTS... cool features... IN THEORY. Not enough manpower for this project I guess..

let's wait another year

First thing that comes to mind is water interacting with the shore. I've yet to see waves hitting the beaches. Someone correct me if I am wrong, or was that also removed from the final version?

Having no prop effect is completely ridiculous, its like flying a Jet..you can see it from the outside, but not in? Really we have to pander to 0.3% of the population? Why not make this game for the blind too and turn the screen black, with audio only directions.

OH wait I figured out why the landscape is super saturated, its for the color blind .34% of players, phew

Im quite disapointed really! I have a hefty i7 system with GTX470 and everythign on medium and it looks well... pretty shitty, no AA (major thing for a flight sim), terrible stutters (i know they know about this), sounds arent great, should not of been released i feel.

I hear you...I was about to upgrade...But will wait until every technical issues are fixed: multithread, SLI and 64 bits compatibilty...
But I am very confident that soon enough we will get very good performance with COD once both code and hardware issues are fixed...Our main concern here, is if what was indeed COD 6 months ago (look at previous videos and sreens) is still what we have now..We know the prop f/x are gone...But what else is , and will still be missing from what we have been shown in WIP ?

Salute !
