Question The Profile is bound to another key. Enter the correct key.

I am getting this error "The Profile is bound to another key. Enter the correct key." when I try to login in to gamespy multiplayer.

I had a temporary key for the free multiplayer trial run recently, but now that key is blocked as the trial is over.

I want to use the copy of the game I just bought from gamergate to play multiplayer using my Gamespy account.

Surely I am not the only person to have purchased the game after playing the free multiplayer trial.

The problem is fixed now. I contacted 1C support support@1cpublishing.eu. I gave them my retail key and in exchange my key fromt he free multiplayer trial was activated.

There is also a replace key form on BestWay website that I think does the same thing. http://eng.bestway.com.ua/index.php/special-offers
