Save Problem with DCG

I absolutely love DCG but i have a serious problem with saving

it just wont let me ever since ive installed it

everytime i click the save or load button the screen just closes
and it does not let em save or load

this white box appears with all sorts of numbers and letters
that make no sense and its preventing me from enjoying the dynamic
campaign generator properly

any help would be massively appreciated
