I'm not trying to flame here Jason. I'm just asking. I think its a viable question. What are the numbers compared to IL2? You didn't answer.
A sensible question deserves a sensible answer…
Though to be fair I can’t understand how you can describe Falcon 4.0 online as “blowing”. I’ve flown it online for the best part of 6 years in various incarnations and it’s the best online experience I’ve ever had…I assume it’s the fact that competitive “force on force” engagements are very much secondary to co-operative missions that has coloured your opinion.
Obviously IL2 is by far the most widely played game on Hyperlobby…but that’s simply because use of Hyperlobby isn’t part of the online culture in other games…they are played through dedicated or squadron servers or through peer to peer sessions…so to say very few people play online through Hyperlobby, is a very different thing from saying very few people play online full stop.
IL2 is popular on Hyperlobby because it lends itself exceptionally well to that environment…it lacks a steep learning curve and is relatively straightforward to learn and play and the very broad base of flyables from all nationalities mean it is ideal for competitive dogfights.

that is just YOUR opinion, i think the "tiny fraction" is actually a major fraction.
the majority of users "may" be offline players who aren´t affected but here, in this forum,
i think the majority are online player who are affected if the balance is distorted.
i really believe that not everybody who uses the sound-hack ist cheating, but there are always
people who will use any advantage they can get to win.
Those hacks might be used this way if its easy to do.
Of course there where hacks before the sound-hack but those where only used by a very, very small number of people and didn´t matter in the whole picture.
When every dick, bill or harry can use a hack to his advantage the online play will be dead
for all "serious" players who are playing full real.

what stupid egotistical behaviour.....typically the ones with the biggest egos are those in the Dogfighting servers..... always looking for ...kills....points.....winning

....grow up.....there is more to life than that

it is because of all these ego problems that the world will never know peace
Excuse my idiocy, but who gave you the right to hack the sim? Who ask you... and people like you to butcher this sim? Community asked you? Oleg? I see complete opposite, i see bunch of narrow minded idiots running around and trying to justify breaking into something that is not theirs. How`s that? You like that?

Yawn!!!!

Get a life dood. Do you pray to Oleg? Butcher this sim? The "Community" as you call it, has been asking for some of the things that are in this MOD for a long time. What have we been getting? The 121st version of a Lagg or Yak or Me109.

If you want to see a "narrow minded idiot", I suggest you look into a mirror.

What would you and all of the rest of the "straight and honest (pfft, what a joke)" people do if the Great Oleg (tm) says, the Mod is ok, I will let these people Mod the sim so I can get back to the important things......Like SoW ?

Don't get me wrong, I have the greatest respect for Mr. Maddox and his crew. I have ALL of the IL-2 series, including both demos. I just think he is not loosing any sleep over this, that's all.

Give it a break will ya........ both sides are getting really, really tiresome now.
