Wow, this is a first. A thread that was about bad news, going offtopic and awesome. Usually its the other way around lol

I really need this game. And it needs to be huge. I have so high expectations from playing AvP2 on PC years ago. Damn was that a scary game when played alone in the dark.

The main M41 Pulse rifle is really a Thompson M1A1 and an M480 shotgun with SPAS grip.. trivia buffs.

If you've got £4,000 spare you could always buy yourself a nice set of USCM armour It's after the replica gun.. Ultimate fancy dress outfit?

I put $20 down for AvP3 a month ago at Game Stop, but this Hunter Edition is just sounds too awesome to pass up! I cant wait, did you guys see the alien reveal clip on Youtube? My favorite part is when the alien grabs one unlucky guy in a dark corridor and pulls him closer then plunging its tail shank up through the poor marines ribcage lifting him off the ground! Yes! Cant wait til February!

As winny said the pulse rifle is a Thompson. The smart gun vasquez and drake use is an mg42. They picked the mg42 for due to the huge muzzle flash. I believe they increased the flash further by using wooden blanks which basically explode out of the muzzle.
Also the APC was built from an aircraft hauler. Basically one of those tugs that drag 747s
