The quality of gaming on pc or console is limited by the people you game with. You need a good friends list.
The game is hosted by a player, not game servers. Host has control over what type of room it is.

2:26 H_Lecter: real or virtual cockpit..?

2:27 danneale: real cockpits
People seem to be getting confused over the term virtual cockpit, I've always understood virtual cockpit to be the type of view where you see the interior of the plane rendered in 3D. So the question "real or virtual" is absolutely meaningless. Who knows what the developer meant when he answered that way?

Well, it's not me who invented those terms. It's the language of the developers and those terms are being used in game.

[EDIT:

2:28 danneale: (almost every plane historically correct)
2:28 danneale: a couple without cockpit views

This should point out that the guy answering the questions (Mark?) knew what was meant by real vs. virtual cockpits]

If you are host why coudn't the guy just setup a MP in sim mode????

So, what kind of copy/build did the guy have?

Anyway, i hope for some german cockpits (as does everybody else here)
I find it funny that a gaming website enjoys higher credibility among the community than the word of the developers.

I rather tend to believe the makers of the game...

I highly recommend anybody to watch the recorded broadcast if you haven't done so yet and switch the audio on. There's lots of interesting background info about game modes and other details.

What i did was just WONDERING what the micromania guy actually PREviewed. Prolly not the final/retail version.

Of course i believe the word of a dev. So, the broadcast gives hope/evidence that german cocpits will be in (but not all)
+1

I'm aware of that. But even after the question was answered, there were people saying that the devs lie and Micromania was right. That's what I was referring to - and I know that you were not one of them.

If we could just get an answer from Anton about whether the 109/190 have the proper cockpit views, then I would be happy, or unhappy, depending on the response, but at least we wouldn't have all this speculation. With all the fuss you would have thought he would answer, since he can apparently spare the time to answer the question of whether the German planes will have swastikas on them.

And that is exactly what keeps me worried. Days pass, no reaction at all. So I am quite sure there is something to those rumors.
