Oh yeah, I saw some pop-up about that whilst I was browsing in Dolphin HD the other day, maybe I'll give it a gosh then.

ok, just downloaded patch .. thanks for the effort all.
initial findings, created a scenario with E4's bombing a airfield in the 'fields' map, with 6 Ansons circulating around ... (1) why do the E4's sound like they have a jet engine externallly and a lawn mower internally .. did the E4 have a new engine compared to the E3? (2) game froze with my aircraft hanging in mid air while everyone else (AI) fought it out. ... additional .... Ok, fixed the unstability a bit with a cache verify. But sounds are still a problem, are they historically correct? emil don't sound right, as well as the defiant. And the Defiants guns have lost their 'Bang' replaced with minor pops ? I hear the engine more that the guns ? is this correct ? .. additional 2 .... and the night missions are VERY dark .. even with a full moon. Funny thing, game clock says 4PM, should be 11PM .. additional 3 .... Flying a 110, I couldn't hear the engines (internally) but could hear the the wind ? I LOVE the sound of the airframe straining when pushed to the limit! .. still testing .. .

Reflections are gone, just like in the last beta. They just dumbed it down.
I would understand if I was getting better frames, but i get now very bad drop in FPS when the clouds come into view. Now. Is there a way to restore the last one?

Least beut not last !
So thanks ! By the way, CoD is getting marvellous, so that's pretty clear that CoD was on the way, it has been released not yet finished, for myself, as long as devs keep doing a great job, I'm absolutely fine with it. Last edited by jf1981; 10-17-2011 at 04:40 PM. |

S!
Worse performance on my rig compared to beta for some reason, lot of stutter and lower FPS. Also when compared to last official patch the "3 blue lines" are back and the squareish flickering area around you ![]() |

I've been running the patch for about an hour now and the performance is actually improved on my system (i7 920 OC @ 3.72ghz, 12gb ram, gtx570 OC). I can actually fly at low level properly now, there are still stutters but they dont compare to how bad it was before, the water looks fantastic compared to before, and the sound is incredible. Overall I think this is a very evolutionary patch, I'm pretty happy with it. If we keep seeing development like this by mid 2012 we should have a truly spectacular game on our hands.

Great, great news. Luthier, you get this game sorted in a timely way and I will buy the sequel, and the next and the next.
PS...so what's the new "Mystery Game Element? ![]() |
