I'm not too keen on the eastern front... I just hope they follow up with something in the Pacific Theatre...

Besides the planes license problems that almost killed it, there are a lot of other reasons not to return to Pacific. It wasn`t popular in IL2. Poeple were hoping for huge ship battles, supporting ivnasions of some islands, but it turned out something else. Boring missions, flak density vs fps problems, very imbalanced and not very interesting planesets. People did play it, but in the few first months of exploration, the it was eastern and western front all the same. I would rather have the Korea done quicker.

Frustrated? Naaah. Red boys get frustrated having crap yaks, Focke boys get frustrated cuz of no plane but Messerschmitt boys still got their Friedrich - a more potent T&B fighter too. No worries

The Boeing Company owns North American so good luck getting the F-86 without license problems. Same with the Skyraider since Boeing owns Douglas.
