Here's a tip, check out the Steam summer sale that's on right now. Some damn good deals there. Picked up Just Cause 2 and Wings of Prey for a grand total of 9€! That's a lot of fun for the old buck. Haven't played CloD for a while now but I'm watching the forums like a hawk, waiting for the king of patches to arrive.

If the sim was working well in SP(no campaign) or MP(no sound or coops) we would have something to do.

Were waiting for Luthier to tell us the game we paid for is now working.
By now we should have realized the game isn't finished and won't be finished for some time. Heckling the developer isn't going to finish the sim any sooner. Yes you could be very pissed the community wasn't made aware just how unfinished the sim was, but that would have killed the sim just as effectively as the publisher dropping funding. I also agree that the publisher could have stated it was going to be a paid beta, but I doubt that would have garnered enough funds to continue development.

We have multiple choices..
1. We can help the developer as much as we can with beta testing and constructive criticism
2. We can enjoy the features that are in the sim until others features are added or fixed
3. We can buy the sim and move on to other things and hope our monetary support will make a difference
4. We can wait a few years for another developer
5. We can spam the forums with vindictive negativity that can only drive away prospective customers, so we can tell everyone we told you so in an empty forum.

or 6, we could accept the humble apology from Luthier and team for selling us a dud, and be happy that the community manager at least corresponds with us on a daily or weekly basis reassuring us that our points/concerns and bug reports or being listened to and that work is being done to fix them, maybe even giving us a little taster of things to come. This very simplistic action would take a lot of heat out of the forums, sadly it seems that it is beyond them.

FMB and fun?no documentation at all.weathersystem not working.fun with this ai?after you shot down twenty ai enemies, maybe one reacts and tries to get on your six.hey but no problem you can escape with running through trees.

we all know now that your sim is running great Lobisomem!its getting boring as well.
and while you are completely happy, others are not.so let them express their opinion.if you dont share or care, why do you respond anyway?

Because this forum need posts of some users "happy" with is already usable in this sim and not just a lot of whinning about what need to be fixed.

I'm not completly happy, I just have a life that I don't want to waste just whinning about issues with CloD that will be solved with time. I'm having fun with I already have, all bugs are already reported and Maddox Games are doing an OK job in patch this thing.

Go buy a better VGA. You'll need it! Battlefield 3 is about to be released...

well i dont play battlefield, im not interested in computergames at all except flight sims.
you already told me to buy a better vga.i already told you twice that i know its weak.but i dont need a better one right now.i can play cod with reduced settings.although there is a performance lost since two patches.and stutters are back.
but why should i invest in hardware when there is no content in game.no sound, crap ai,disconections from servers.no people on servers.trees you can fly through, colours that are more than improvable, and inacurate flight models.
whats left?beautiful cockpits,cem,damage model.those 3 features keep me hoping.
btw i want my realistic gauges back.

We've had an apology of sorts from Luthier stating we have every right to be pissed at the condition of the sim.

What do you expect the developers to say on a daily or weekly basis. Things simply don't get done that quickly. They have far more pressing priorities than baby sitting us as daily. A monthly status report would be much more informative. Atleast then they would have had time to actually get something done.

I agree, with most of your comments. But Luthier several times said, that the customers have a right to be angry. For me this is enough. I mean apology. Some time ago I was said that Clod will not be fully ready for some time and probably will shine in all its glory around Christmas this year.

The fact is, that the Clod released one Year too soon.

Patience fellas.

rgr.
