Default Formation/ Free Flight Group

I've seen mention of formation/ free flight interest on some of the other threads, so I figured I'd start one dedicated. I'm looking for fellow pilots to get together for some formation flying sessions/photo ops.

Any suggestions on locations, routes, plane groupings, and times certain would be appreciated.

I believe the best setting would be a team battle (so as not to let the auto-gunners have a field day) with one unlucky sort drawing the straw to fly alone or in a small group apart from the formation. Perhaps a lone German fighter to muck the formations up a bit/ take photos would be in order. Please add your suggestions.

To begin with, I'd much like to call out all of the B-17 folks for some historic formation flying over the channel/ dover. A few little friends escort would be highly anticipated as well. See the links for some visuals. http://www.303rdbg.com/formation.html, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combat_box

Ideally I would like to have a catalog of each plane in a historic formation/ setting. Let me know your level of interest and I'll try to coordinate.

Excellent idea, McKinney! I am here!
is a bit 'of time I search mates for formation and free flights ..

a B17 historic formation flight for takes photo is wonderful idea .. maybe with a mass landing in Manston..

Another idea ... formation flights with landings and departures, maybe in the three airports in England.. or acrobatic flights and Air shows under the many bridges in the south of Berlin..

Guys, do you think you can make a video for me and the rest of you, that you are flying your B-17s and dropping Bombs on your target and place it on Youtube? - that would be sweet for me, since i dont have the B17 yet..? ^^
