Here's a quick mission against 2 a.i. Beaufighters. Sorry it's a bit dark, the lighting looked so cool when I was playing, but compressed for Youtube it is hard to make out what I'm shooting at. I'm still getting used how much different it feels than IL2 '46. I turned headshake off, and even disabled 2 of the 6 "DOF" in my TIR profile to tame the pilots POV. In my opinion, the the headshake is way over done. With it on, it's extremely hard to get your eye to the crosshairs unless you fly straight and level.

Anyway, I'm very slowly figuring this thing out, and I'm starting to see what this game could be if they sort out the technical issues.

Just a collection of random clips I recorded while testing the new patch April 8. Works better for me, still have stutters here and there though. Starting at 2:15 you can see some incredible scenery just around London, but also a bit of stutters (did not affect gameplay though, was just a bit annoying).

Settings - Everything set to max it can go
1920x1080
Roads / Grass - Off
Shadows - On/Off on some clips.
Recorded during gameplay, not on playback track.

System:
i7-2600k - 3.4Ghz
gtx580 - 1.5gb mem (1 card)
16 gigs ram
game is installed on SSD

I would like to see a defiant V something, just see if the AI turret gunner actually fires back.

Thanks

He111.

BTW, fantastic vids!
