Edit: in fact I just ordered a gtx570 superclocked.
As it happens I have RoF installed on both of my high end PC's, one I7 920 @ 4GHz with a HD6970 and my newer I7 2600K @ 4.8 GHz with 2 x GTX 570's in SLI, even on just one GTX570 RoF runs much better, have RoF installed on both rigs and just updated RoF on the ATI card rig earlier today to test, its runs pretty good but not as sweet as the Nvidea rig with the 570's ... I'm no fanboy BTW or I'd not have bought an ATI HD 6970.

I'm making my I7 2600K with 2 GTX570's my primary flight sim rig now and the older I7 920 with HD6970 my main gaming rig ... playing the Dues Ex HR on it and loving it.

If I were you I'd go for a GTX580 over a 570 though, that's my regret ... sometimes I just don't push the boat out enough.

Yeah I know, but having read about a thousand benchmarking comparisons I couldn't justify an additional £100 for an additional 10 FPS!

£10 per frame per second was just enough to make me choke on my cup of tea.

My graphic solution is not listed but .....

I run a GTX 295 which has two GPU but it is not SLI.

It runs COD good at high settings and good FPS so far.

Yes you need a SLI profile just like dual card setups, works exactly the same only your two chips are on the same PCB rather then in two different slots, without a profile your running at about the same speed as a GTX 275.

I know where you are coming from, don't worry, your GTX570 will serve you well for many years to come, its a great card. Flight sims have never really used the power of the GPU and prefer the CPU and I dont see that changing any time soon ... all flight sims I own just now love the GTX570.

Thanks for the information. Can I review and understand my profile (I did not know about it)? Where can I find it (if I have one it came with the PC which is Alienware)?
