Smile Possitive thinking

is your glass half empty or half full

One of the reasons this game is loosing its popularity, is all the negative talk that goes on in this forum. Anyone thinking of buying this game would never do so after looking at this forum.
I don’t understand the “I don’t like it here so I want to spoil it for the ones that do” attitude.

We need to focus on the good things in this game and try and attract more people.

I spent 5-6 years flying IL2 for PC but finally gave up, because of the lack of fairness in the game play. All the axis flyers made mince meat of you if you tried to turn fight with any one. They used to dive on you in 3s and fours and with the FW 190 armament they could not miss. So I had to adapt and stop turn fighting. I realised that I was not longer enjoying the game so I stopped.

Now this game is a turn fighters dream. I fly this game because the fight is even, where the skill of the pilot is supreme. But most of all its good fun.
Yes I also wish I could just jump into a game every time I log on but, but when I do I have a great time.

People will come and go, but the ones that remain will be the heart of this game. The PC game just goes on and on for this reason.

I purchased my xbox for this game, so I am committed and enthusiastic like many of you.

Well said. its a shame you're not on PS3, as you'd fit right in with our little hardcore community. I hope for your sake, and the other xbox players who've stuck with the game, that they get the Xbox patch sorted out quickly. Once thats done, maybe the game can regain some of its lost popularity.

Or if that doesn't work out, sell the Xbox and join us PS3 players

PS3 sounds good to me, PC joystick support and free MP to boot. Got me thinking now, no RROD either. Someone wants me to exchange my Xbox for their PS3, should I say a big YES or wait till the PS3 patch is released and see what happens?

Hi Old Roar, I fly with a bunch of regulars, mostly realistic, some Sim, and have played every night since the game came out on XBOX from around 7:00 – 10:00 PST. If you can get online around that time send me a friend’s request (TRC Subaru) and I will get you into a lot of challenging dogfights.

Default Half full

It`s not that the glass is half full or half empty. The glass is just bigger than it needs to be .Kinda like the process to get a update.

Gunny, man, I'm trying really hard not to antagonise you, especially when the forum seems to have settled after the whole "I'm leaving thread". But can you really not see the nonsense in this quote..?

Say a big YES, put a please on the end maybe, then at least you know the clock is ticking until the "update is required" message of joy

Plus you could amuse yourself with one of the exclusives you would then have access too. Maybe someone can correct me, but I don't know of a single bad PS3 exclusive (although I'm not an LBP fan myself).

I'm not trying to start a console war - it's pointless. I'm sure the XBox exclusives are just as good. It's just that the future of BoP seems brighter on the PS3 at this present time...
