Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580

OC that CPU...it's got lots of life left in it.
I wouldn't upgrade the GPU yet, wait for next gen unless your rich ... If you are upgrade everything who gives a shit

I hope you are not flying online on the red side. With this hardware even your plane will fly faster!

Well the extra 2Gb came at a price of £25 more than the 2Gb version....so no reason not to have the headroom.

I realise on a dual card the Memory would be split 2GBx2GB for each processor.....but as I only have a single card I thought it'd be nice to have the headroom available

It's a step up from my previous card which only had 1GB memory onboard....but worked brilliantly in everything (bar CloD!).

Just a few clips of video to render.....and then I'm going in

Cheers, MP
Does that mean we'll hopefully see one of your movies done with CoD? Always liked your work, MP.

As an aside, I'd be interested in how this new card affects your editing. I'm looking to rebuild a new PC before X-Mas and I edit with Avid Media Composer. I could use a better system at this time for rendering effects, and compiling HD video image files/discs. I have a few nice ideas that I'd like to do with RoF and CoD, but having a less than adequate system crimps the creativity.
