Oh, well it's been that way forever then. I'm noticing a dramatic difference in my ability to spot dots at long range between today and as early as last week. So it's either the patch or a placebo.

But it might not be the same for guys not playing on a server with those settings. It's not like everything worked perfectly before this patch, and we could rule out something inadvertently "fixed".
In SP and on KG13's server, I didn't notice any more clarity trying to spot aircraft, but honestly, I wasn't looking for it either.

Especially the dot visibility has been a problem through the whole life of IL2. We had it one time close to optimal, but it has been changed again for no apparent reason. Nowe we have the change for this change to stay. It makes flying a B&Z plane a friggin REVOLUTION so to speak. If the dot vis thing has really changed then pardon my exalted font but WE MUST DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO CLINCH THIS CHANGE INTO THE FINAL VERSION. |
