Default Gunners wanted!

Ever wondered how it would be to man one of those guns on a B-17? Fan of Memphis Belle, 12 OC High and Warlover?

Then join us this Sunday on testing a new concept of DBS Missions, COOP with human gunners: DBS will do the flying, YOU do the shooting! (original thread link)

^^^

Anyone interested in some real combat flight simulation should sign up for this.

Forget your airquake and even Co-Ops with AI, this is as close to the real deal as you will get imho. I just wish I could join myself ....

I have had the pleasure of flying with DBS in these kind of missions and T}{OR is a god amonst men when it comes to organising and running these events.

This isn't even close to what you can expect however hopefully it gives you a taste of what it's like to fly with DBS .... the formation flying was just impromtu stuff on a dogfight server a few years ago with a few DBS guys.

We are planing to do a re-run, and another mission after this. There will be more opportunities if you can not make it on 26th.

Hi T}{OR,

F4 BMS has been my weapon of choice, it is awesome imho

The basic game has the best dynamic campaign engine ever in any flight sim since the dawn of man.

The dynamic campaign engine means that players can take part in a simulated war online and/ or offline.

The game is being modded by the BMS guys in a transparent and controlled manner.

None of the ... "I saw a scrap of paper that said an Fw190 was faster than an F15, could out climb Apollo 11 and out turn a Sopwith Camel and had a refracted gun sight"

The following videeo is nothing to do with me but I think gives a good flavour of F4 BMS

I hear you. And I've heard about how great BMS is.

Sadly, my free time lately is severely limited and I have barely enough time to fly my secondary flight sim - DCS World. In there, mastering the FM alone is worth the trouble alone, from P-51D to the famous Huey. Then there is A-10C...

Some day perhaps I will find the time to try out BMS. No time nowadays I am afraid.

Back to the mission - any chance of you joining us for the sake of good old times?
