Default So how 'bout that Su26 hu?

I mean a couple days before release it was still said on a couple forums That we would get a Su26. (pretty sure anyway that I've seen it on forums with "su26 as a bonus plane" from maddox anywhere from end of february to march 22nd.)

But since the game is out a few people asked about it on forums but without any answers as to why it wasn't there anymore?
There was no official announcement either about why it was removed.

So can we get an answer about this from someone who KNOWS? It would be greatly appreciated, thanks if you guys take the time to give me an answer!

Easy one: 1C put it out just before release, and want to sell it later as a "special edition".

I don't think anyone is working on any addons atm. The whole team is working on fixes for the game.

mmmm Are you sure of this? Could you try and remember where you saw that? So I can try and look for it?

BTW: thanks for taking the time to answer that.

+1.

Oleg's team is squashed between two greedy publishers.

Nobody can survive this One-Two knockout combo.

PCG: There’s a Su-26 amongst the flyables. How did this modern aerobatics plane end-up in the sim?

ILYA: We thought it would be a great way to prove the fidelity of our flight model. Not too many people can get behind the controls of a Heinkel and say “Yes, this handles just like the real thing.”. There are a lot of people who fly the Su-26 or similar aerobatics planes. Besides, a few of our modellers actually worked for Sukhoi back in the day, and one of them was even a member of the Su-26 design team. He designed the landing gear for the real thing, and then recreated it for us!

OLEG: Another reason we included the Su-26 is pilots from real aerobatic teams requested it. They used Il-2 for the training in the past. In Cliffs of Dover they can fly a real sport plane.
pretty much, alot of my interest in IL2 was derived from the Fact. The inclusion of the SU26 and the broad scope it would provide to this sim. Damnit i even posted at other flightsim developers forums suggesting that incorporating a similar idea would really broaden the scope of there software too.

sadly its not there, it took me aslong as it took to download the game to realise it wasnt included. Very sad. I certainly could not find any such official statement. but then official statements are hard to come buy on an official forum for an officially released game by the official owner and developer. Im getting officially tired now 1C. Do you care enough to communicate properly ? We understand the various teething problems associated but please inform us adequetly.

please 1c take a day off your hectic schedules. have some good times and spend an hour or two "not" keeping us in the dark. re format the forums, tidy it up, lay down the rules and lets proceed properly where this lovely lovely work of flightsim art is concerned.

EDIT : that Su-26 as a freebie would be very welcomed indeed. as well as being a good customer relations marketing idea. i know how cheeky it is to suggest that, but that is my expectation. You publicly touted it as content. not me. And if its payware upon principle im not buying it. i can live without it, and if that is so. then i'll sack this game instantly. Im patient and understanding which after all is what you are counting on right now.
