Hmmm! Not one to nit pick, but when they change the propellors (around 8:40) shouldn't the oleo's react when your adding and removing ~260 odd pounds on the nose?

Cheers!

Frankyboy,
I think initially the Emil will be the a/c most likely to break it's engine from prop pitch abuse.
Hopefully CoD will include the correct,early/mid BoB timeframe introduction of the Emil's auto prop.
I have the introduction date here somewhere.

Edit, Your thread reference DB601 pitch & MG-FFM covers that nicely!

Il2 does a pretty good job with CSP/variable and fixed pitch prop types, but I think the problem in Il2 is that there was never comprehensive documentation/videos about how to use them. Other aspects of the engine model though...

Yeah I hope CoD can match the detail of A2A

For me, the value was that I learn't more in that video than in years of simming!

I love the way these guys study real warbirds to model the prop action etc. accurately. That's the kind of experience I'm after. Sure hope these guys take an interest in CoD. Not sure if Oleg will give them access to all the low level stuff that they'll require though. I live in hope.
