Exclamation Windows 7 & Weird Il-2 Problem

I've posted about this else where but wanted to do it here so I can hopefully get things sorted sooner.

I'm having a hell of a time getting IL-2 to work. I've got most everything set up so I can fly now and went to test the game. It starts but the weird thing is I'm zoomed in on the upper left corner. I go to move the mouse and I see the cursor disappear. I alt tab out and back thinking this will fix the aspect ratio and it doesn't! So I decide to set it for my desktop resolution- 1600x1200. Start it up and same damn thing! Stuck up in the upper left corner and am zoomed in. Nothing I do will give me a full screen view or make the mouse work within it!

I've now done a fresh install and just testing it from the DVD without any patching causes the same problem to happen. I even started a game in Hyperlobby and launched from there and same thing. Looking at the preview from the icon on the task bar when I alt tab out shows me the entire game screen but when I click on the program to go back in I'm zoomed in on the upper left corner again and no mouse... I've already screamed and cried... running out of ideas here... I've tried various compatibility modes, running as admin, running in windowed mode, etc. and nothing changes this. I could really use some fresh ideas here as I'm supposed to have a campaign mission tonight with the squad... Thanks.

Try calling Micro$ofts win 7 team sounds like a desplay issue with the OS.

LOL - no it's definitely not Win7. Running Win7 64bit here, too, without any problems.

What graphics drivers are you using?

Avatar - have you tried a lower game resolution like 640x480?
Have you checked your conf.ini file?
We have the same vid card and drivers and mine is AOK with Win7.

Lower resolution? No, I haven't but will just to see what's up but 1024x768 and 1600x1200 were the same.

My config.ini file was the same that I used before the installation and all was good on Vista Ultimate. Though in the past week or two, since the last 1-2 Windows Updates, I did have this issue with other IL-2 installs other than my main one that I played. My only solution was to rename the main folder to the working one and it would be fine. But I've also tried with a fresh install/config.ini and used basic settings and still get this...

So you have the same driver and card that I do? Man, that is very weird as I was now thinking it must be the display driver but that appears to not be the case...

Still not having fun yet.

Post a dxdiag report and your conf.ini. Also, what settings are you using in your nvidia profile for il2?
