i really agree with this topic.
for now BoP is still the only game i'm playing but i don't even try to look for a multiplayer game anymore, it's too disappointing. i'm doing the solo missions over and over again.
even resident evil 5 (a mainly solo game design) makes it easier to find a multiplayer game.
and i really doubt all our problems will be solved with the update.

and i found some funny bugs too ^^
for example, shoot a plane, and continue shooting while it's on fire, you will still hear the pilot scream "i got hit, i got hit", even if you saw him bail out a minute ago ^^
also, when you crash next to anti-aircraft warfare, it will still be trying to shoot you, so you see the little black clouds just above your burning wreckage, i love it ^^

Where are you getting your info? Have you not seen any of the videos on their main site?

Yes you can fly helicopters, little bird, cobra to name two they even show first person cockpit view in the littlebird, tanks, hummers, railbuggy, there is all sorts of vehicles.http://worthplaying.com/article/2009/9/24/news/68738/

In multiplayer it is confirmed

In the video, players are shown using surveillance to recon targets, infiltrating buildings, engaging in close and ranged fire-fights and deploying vehicles including the AH6 and MI-17 ground attack helicopters and the M1A2 battle tank.

MW2, yes it has vehicles did you not see the snowmobile?

If your talking strictly MP FourZeroTwo said no vehicles in MP on MW2

Once I get credit for a kill where I blow a hole in his wing and he crashes, I'll feel a lot better about the longevity of this game. As of right now, it's a blast

I Fear with the Mp problems people may just leave this game & get theses new one's.

Unless this game is patched soon, i fear all will be lost
bye then...

there are quite a few diehards, me included, that will still be playing...

Hahaha, skullbits do you have any idea of how the game industry works?

Flight sims are a niche genre. IL-2 never had a chance at selling nearly as many copies as a mainstream juggernaut like MW2 or AC2 will sell.

That said, unless they kept the dev costs down for Birds of Prey, I don't know how they could keep it profitable.

I finally found a game to where I can dent the leaderboards. And while I have had Borderlands preordered since 2007...hell mate, I love flying. I will never leave Sturmovik.

I'll be getting mw2, but i won't leave this game. They are two different types of games. Get sick of running around shooting, just pop in BOP for some dog fighting. I wish I could keep on playing codW@W though instead of having to buy mw2. I know all of the people I have on my friends list will be getting mw2 and Treyarch will cut off support soon anyway. At least I get cod1 with the hardened edition.
