I have a question though, all the talk of Geman cockpits is for Multi player, but will I be able to play with german aircraft in free flight or single mission mode?

Sort of. It was mentioned in another thread, but the only planes available for campaign/single missions will be allied planes. For training mode (free flight), I believe you can select axis planes.

Shame. If the publisher is listening, I would definatley pay for a DLC pack that allowed us to do Axis missions!!!!
