I explained this before,, the ace combat 6 programers made the dead zone there on purpose to not give the flight stick users a edge over the controller gamers.

I don't like the look of it either , but Thank God I have it because Anton was right it is AMAZING with this game. Ever bit as good as my X 52 Pro.

I even made a video showing the Ace edge has no deazone due to its construction, its the programers job. Digg around on this forum if you want to see it, I posted it here a while ago to explain this whole situation to people.

I know the stick has no hardware deadzone. I know for a fact that my specific stick does not have any deadzone.

I also know that I DEFINITELY had some deadzone when I was playing yesterday. It was not Ace Combat or HAWX big, but it was definitely there. I noticed it in the tutorial, when I went to specifically check for it.

It didn't jump out at me when playing the actual campaigns on sim earlier, though I wasn't looking for it, and I may be somewhat used to it from AC6 and HAWX.

Again, I just know that there was definitely some deadzone when I went and checked for it in the tutorial. Maybe it is just there in arcade mode. I dunno. I will check it out in sim mode later, but I wouldn't be surprised to find it there. Maybe you and I just have a very big difference in what defines a hair of movement.
