First Soviet Mission Problem - Bug?

The tank should have the repair kit. If you select the tank and press i you should see a blue box. That is the repair kit. Though you don't need to do this. when you select your guy click on the wrench icon then the tank. your dude should repair the tank.

I had the same problem and tried a dozen times. I have screen shots from when I first enter the tank. The repair kit simply isn't there. Then last night I came across the solution playing the demo while I reloaded my online copy. I always entered the tank by sneaking around the MG nest and using the tank to take them out. When I do that the kit isn't there. When I do a "frontal assault" on the position, and then get the Mission to repair the tank, the kit shows up as long as I don't enter the tank before then. This is still a bug for a game with unlimited solutions to situations, as my solution just wasn't allowed to work, at least not with the Demo and Gamersgate versions. I informed GG and 1C of the problem. I hope this works for you.
