You are not the only one who thinks BoP is going to have an arcady feel to the main mission play. I believe most members here tind to forget that console games for the most part, cater to casual arcade gamers. Its what sells games. I realy hope I'm wrong though.

Over G Fighters didnt really have an arcady feel, I believe they will be able to pull off all that they can in a console game and we will be satisfied! (I hope!)
