Started a new game as Hunter with Black Hound companion and found 3 items in road-chests: Ghost Armor (+2 def), Sage Scull (+10 mana) and Iron Krakulum (+500 leadership!). I will try select neutrals as allies.

About upgrades: The first upgrade of Bronze Ring seems to be about right: impossible at level 5 but doable at level 7. The second upgrade could be somewhat tougher compered to the first, though. Snake Ring feels too easy considering it's price and level.
Is there still supposed to be free stuff there? Pirate Lair has no price on units and other stuff. |

The buildings have not been changed since your test games. Some are free (zero price on them).

I have this weird bug.
After learns rune magic lv1 Game crashes whenever I enter ANY battle. Load previous save before learn rune magic: everything is fine. Fight several battles and learn rune magic again: crashes every time. |

![]() I have something to report if you still progress in this mod. not a big problem just missing text in the level description ( where usually buffs and debuffs are ) of king spider companion. there is no info about level but saying [spiderking_master_name] NF [spiderking_master_hint] NF thanks again for this mod |

I have a problem with this mod.
1. I have steam version of WotN. 2. I renamed orginal folder. 3. I copied mod folder under orginal name. 4. I started game from Steam. 5. I have main screen, when I choose New Game and after selecting hero "Continue" - I am getting message "You are not allowed to play this game". What is solution? |

We are starting to work on Bonfire 2. Just starting. There're probably not many playing this game, but we like modding and playing the mod... so we continue. The main change from Bonfire 1 is that all creatures from the start has zero talents and learn random ones as you develop them.
Usually in WoTn you level your creatures 10 levels up with increased stats like Defence, Attack etc. - in Bonfire 2 there will only be 4 levels, 3 level to level up where you also get attack defence etc, but you learn a random talent that fits the creature. For instance in one game a Cave Spider can learn Haste, then Throw Web (as the King Spider Companion) and as the 3rd talent it could be Eat Corpse (the Undead Spider talent in WoTn). In another game the Cave Spider could learn Mass Web and something else. With this system each game is very different and it is fun trying new creatures to see what they develope of skills... That is what we are working on these days... |
