The thing is that modding is anarchism-because there is no quality control, no final approval by some higher instance. Modding is letting everyone write on paper and hope for a book of fine litterature. Sometimes it works out, most is of very poor quality--or/and it breaks the same amount of stuff it tends to repair. What I think is nice though are the new textures for maps and cockpits and such. They hurt nobody and some are really nice. I think Oleg should have allowed such a thing from the start. Even whole map making. But I loath those so called "new planes." Incredible such garbage actually gets applause over at AAA.

I agree textures and maps and things of that nature or fine...even FMB/QMB mods are ok IMO. While i'd prefer the go through Oleg for approval...i could live with it if it were just those. but it's not.

I don't think so, in fact I disagree 100%...if not more! Your either with us or against us, it can't be both ways. People stay out of Oleg's master piece
