Sorry it did not work... I wonder if after you reformat was not in bios/or system [OS] any change made (you may not be aware of) - so the activation could stop due different system attributes (it "thinks" this is not your PC - not the one you activated it on... still usually you should get proper message telling you this)

Absolutely go for Nike-it's advise... trust him on this
