Getting my ass whipped

I am playing as a Paladin level 23 but whenever I want to upgrade this particular item, I think its the Wizard's staff to level 3, I lose!
Part of the reason is because of these stupid griffins keep on reproducing themselves and even if i kill the they get reborn also the bad guys keep on turning my troops into dumb sheep's!
Plus there are about 10 wizards, inquisitors and priests each so i can't defeat them, the spirits of rage are nowhere to be seen and only come very late to make any difference, i want to post a video or screen so that you may advise me on this so how do i do this, help!
