The game ran perfectly and suddenly it stopped and gave a bmrender msg. I diagnosed that the problem (for me at least) was in the new 178.13 forceware. Nothing I did, including 3d Analyzer helped, so I reverted ti 163.75 drivers that had proven to be most reliable for my pc (I have 8800gtx). Just thought I shared my xp in case anyone else is having a similar problem

And then I went back to 178.13 (NWN 1 plays A LOT better with them on 8800, and I'm addicted to the game ) just on a prayer, and the game work perfectly again... I'm at a loss If anyone has a theory, I'd love to hear it

I turned off SLI on my system and now the game runs much better. Just a suggestion for anyone who has an SLI setup. Sort of crazy that it runs so much more smoothly using just one video card, than it did with two!
