Bought Il2:1946 on steam..
..and lo and behold, latest Daidalos release where installed at the same tim.. now I can throw away all my old DVD's so I don't have anything by ubisoft on DVD! Thanks a million (I had it installed and fully updated before I bought it from steam, again)

I says System Requirements: OS: Windows® XP/2000 (only)
But I have win7 ultimate.. so not sure!?

No problem running it on Win7 Ultimate
But a few installation tips. Do not install in Program Files Mine is in c:\Games\IL-2 Sturmovik In the Windows compatibility settings for the prg, check "Run this Program as an Administrator".
